Blown over from the United States, the new drink category hard seltzer is well on its way to conquer the Dutch market too. STIRR is the first Dutch hard seltzer based on distillates from Schiedam stills. This makes STIRR the striking newcomer in the category of light-alcoholic drinks based on (fruit)-flavoured sparkling water.

STIRR is a Dutch hard seltzer made with sparkling water and distillates produced in Schiedam. Instead of a standard hard seltzer focused solely on fruit flavours, STIRR combines a lightly alcoholic base with distinctive flavour combinations. According to the producer, the distillates give STIRR a balanced and natural taste.

STIRR is available in three varieties: Orange & Cardamom, Raspberry & Apple, and Lime & Jasmine. Orange & Cardamom combines the fresh, fruity character of orange with the spicy notes of cardamom. Raspberry & Apple brings raspberry and apple together for a fruity flavour with a sweet-and-sour balance. Lime & Jasmine combines refreshing lime with the refined, floral character of jasmine.

Each variety comes in a compact 25 cl can and contains 5% alcohol. One can contains 70 calories. STIRR is therefore a light alcoholic drink that stands out through its combination of sparkling water, alcohol and distilled flavours.

The distillates used for STIRR are produced in Schiedam at distillery Onder de Boompjes, a Dutch distillery with a long history. This gives STIRR a distinctly Dutch character within the hard seltzer category.
