LEMONADE CLASSICS
RAAK has existed since 1957. The Dutch brand was introduced with a colorful burnt-in rebus: RAAK = orange + bottle. To support further growth, the company was taken over by N.V. Cacaofabriek De Zaan.
In 1962, the new organization was transformed into N.V. Drankenindustrie RAAK. The company was the first in the Netherlands to introduce soft drinks in liter bottles. Its real breakthrough came from producing lemonades for Albert Heijn under private label.
After several acquisitions, the RAAK company was renamed United Soft Drinks in 1998. This group also owns several other successful beverage brands, such as Bar-le-Duc mineral water and the sports drink AA Drink.
RAAK FLAVORS
RAAK offers four types of lemonade. Gazeuze is a sparkling lemonade with delicious and surprising flavors. Kinderlimo is a tasty, healthier lemonade to take along. RAAK Puur is a delicious fruit syrup made from pure fruit juice.
And RAAK Siroop is the original fruity syrup with less sugar. Did you know there are more than 20 flavors? 5 Gazeuze flavors, 2 Kinderlimo flavors, 3 Puur flavors and no fewer than 14 Siroop flavors.
The most popular, fruity flavors are strawberry, raspberry, greengage (plum), pomegranate, orange, pear, blackcurrant and mixed fruit.
LESS OR NO SUGAR
The regular lemonades and syrups from RAAK contain less sugar than traditional fruit syrups. In addition, RAAK also offers lemonades and syrups with no sugar at all, such as RAAK Orange Zero.
It tastes great, yet contains far fewer calories. This is achieved by using a combination of sugar and sweeteners, which means much less sugar is needed. An excellent thirst quencher, giving parents peace of mind when it comes to their children’s health.
There is also RAAK Zero Sugar. Just as tasty as the regular version, but completely sugar-free. With one bottle of RAAK syrup, you can make up to 30 glasses of lemonade.
